PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Peoria Fire Department shared some photos after saving a trapped kitten on Tuesday.

The kitten was trapped in a sewer drain near West Ridgemont Road and West Knoll Crest Drive, according to a Peoria fire Facebook post.

The post gave a special thanks to the Shift 1 Engine 11 crew, led by Captain Derek Neal, for the rescue.
