ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) - High pressure stays in control through the Twin Tiers clear until early next week.

Aside from a small chance for a few showers from a coastal low moving away from us later tonight through Wednesday morning

The Twin Tiers will not really have very many chances for precipitation over the next seven days, but above average temperatures will prevail. The Climate Prediction Center has us slated for above average temperatures for the next week and the seven day forecast bares that out too. The weekend is looking great for getting out there and doing a little early leaf-peeping or apple-picking.
