A teenager who was stabbed and killed in south Manchester has been named and pictured as his family paid a heartbreaking tribute to him.

Police were called to Moss Lane East in Moss Side just after 4.30pm on Monday night (September 15) where the teenager was found with stab wounds.

The victim, now named as Mohanad Abdullaahi Goobe, tragically died later in hospital. His family have now vowed to 'not allow his name to be another knife-crime statistic' and remembered him as the 'baby of the family'.

A murder investigation was launched, with police cordons remaining in place overnight and throughout Tuesday amid ongoing investigations.
