PORT TOWNSEND — Salish Snow Sports, a new ski and snowboard program for Jefferson County youths, is bringing the “Ski Bus” back for local students in Jefferson County school districts and learning backgrounds.

With affordable tiered tuition options, group lessons at Stevens Pass, and a “Family Bus” for parents and younger kids, the program makes winter recreation more accessible than ever for local youths.

Registration opened Monday. Adults who register for the family bus will pay a transportation fee, but will receive discounted lift tickets at a group rate.

The program is designed to support the health, confidence and well-being of local students during the weekend months, offering structured weekend opportunities for skiing and snowboarding at Stevens Pass.
