COLCHESTER, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Colchester Police said Tuesday that a driver was being treated for injuries after his pickup truck crashed into a house on Main Street.

Authorities said that some time before 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, an 84-year-old Colchester man's Ford F350 left the roadway and hit a house near the intersection of Main Street and Village Drive.

The man was reportedly injured and taken to UVM Medical Center after being extricated from the vehicle by responders, while Main Street was temporarily closed Tuesday morning until just after noon.

Nobody inside the house was reported injured, and authorities said there was no evidence speeding or impairment were factors.
