SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - The Charlotte Congressional Church has donated thousands of dollars to Cathedral Square.
Cathedral Square operates 28 housing communities in Northwestern Vermont, focusing on older Vermonters and those with disabilities. Their Housing Incentive Program (HIP) helps people as they transition from homelessness into long-term affordable housing, through health assessments, community peer groups, and financial aid.
Cathedral Square CEO Kim Fitzgerald said the money will help people in the program "feel welcomed and supported as they transition and acclimate to their new home."
