SAPPINGTON — Ursuline senior Jillian Raterman had been waiting 364 days for the rematch.

Last season, her Bears were swept at St. Pius X, which was led by her cousin Bennett Raterman. This season, Jillian helped returned the favor on her home court.

Jillian Raterman led a well-balanced attack as Ursuline swept the defending Class 4 state champions 25-21, 27-25, 25-17 in a nonconference girls volleyball match Tuesday night.

“It feels great,” Jillian Raterman said. “I mean, that's such a high energetic game. We came out focused. We came out ready. And it really showed today.”

Elizabeth Koenig had 10 kills and 12 assists and Lucy Ellsworth had seven kills and 19 assists for Ursuline (8-3). Jillian Raterman had nine kills and Addyson Gresham and Katie Krus each had seven kills.
