BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Temperatures will continue to run above normal in the days ahead and could trend even hotter by the weekend.

WEDNESDAY FORECAST

No major changes are expected on Wednesday, with a mainly dry morning followed by a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will again top out in the low 90s.

PLENTY OF HEAT, LITTLE RAINFALL

Rain will be hard to come by with limited rain chances expected into early next week. The latest 7-day outlook suggests that totals will average less than a quarter inch for much of our area.
