LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. —
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a crash on Interstate 385 left one person dead on Tuesday.
Troopers said the crash happened around 8:43 p.m. on I-385 South at mile marker 21, which is two miles south of Fountain Inn. Latest Forecast

According to Highway Patrol, a 1996 Chevrolet pickup, traveling south on I-385, went off the roadway to the left, overcorrected, and went off the right side of the road into a tree.
Troopers said the driver died at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
The Laurens County Coroner's Office has not released the name of the victim.
