DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - A Wisconsin felon was sentenced to federal prison for holding a Dubuque woman at gunpoint last year.
38-year-old Mickey Miller, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a firearm as a felon in April.
In October 2024, authorities say Miller pointed a loaded gun at a woman and threatened to kill her and other people in Dubuque.
Miller was arrested that night but has assaulted jail staff multiple times since then. She was previously convicted of a felony for robbery involving the threat of force.
Miller was sentenced to over three years in federal prison along with a three-year supervised release following imprisonment.
