While President Donald Trump still enjoys high approval ratings from a wide variety of his constituent groups, he often acts against their better interests.

Although Trump has had support from farmers, his authorizing ICE raids of farms to arrest and detain suspected undocumented immigrants could put thousands of farms out of business.

Expect food shortages and higher grocery prices as likely results of these policies.

Many police groups have supported Trump and other Republican candidates, even though their policies have made the jobs of the police more difficult.

Loose gun and weapons laws have led to higher crime rates. Easier access to weapons makes it easier for criminals to do their work. Aside from their law-abiding members, the NRA might as well be a lobby for criminals.
