MIDDLEBURG — As two goalies who are coming off of breakthrough seasons last year, Lewisburg's Gabe Pawling and Midd-West's Derek Wert have been a huge reason why their respective sides are atop the Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I standings.

Tuesday's game at Sports Boosters Athletic Park was no different for the two goalies. Both players made save after save to keep the ball out of the net, and after 100 minutes of play, Lewisburg and Midd-West played to a 0-0 tie in a league match that played out similarly to last year's 1-1 stalemate in the regular season.
