COLUMBUS, Ohio — At the Columbus City Schools board of education meeting Tuesday night, part of the discussion involved decisions that could be made on transportation.
Last week, the joint committee voted to allow the board to decide whether to get rid of the district’s mandate to bus high school students.
During Tuesday's meeting, more discussions were had regarding how the district plans to cut $50 million from its budget.
Board members are taking a closer look at eliminating buses for high school students across the district.
Board President Michael Cole proposed an amendment to their transportation policy.
