The Lethbridge Hurricanes held their annual general meeting on Monday night and the club had plenty to be excited about in terms of numbers from last season.
A highlight on the business side was the Canes raking in $1,103,113 in profit last season.
“I like to refer to it almost as the perfect storm,” said Terry Huisman, Canes general manager of business operations.
“We started off the year well and we ended off the year well but we had a lot of help along the way. The store sales sold well, the 50/50 sold well, tickets sold well ,and then obviously we have the expansion money and the long playoff run.”
