ALLEN – Resilience was a common theme as the Allen and Plano West volleyball teams alternated set wins throughout Tuesday’s match until the Lady Wolves opted to flip that script with a resounding finish to a key bout in the District 6-6A title race.

After staving off defeat amid a 2-1 set deficit and extending the match to a fifth frame, the Lady Wolves carried over that energy en route to a 15-8 victory to secure the five-set road win over the Lady Eagles (21-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 15-8) and remain atop the district standings.
