Greenville County Council is considering a study on the fire departments within the county.

The resolution in front of County Council on Tuesday, proposed by Councilman Fant, says in part, "Outdated service boundaries and varying tax bases contribute to inconsistent service levels, limited capacity for specialized units, and challenges in standardizing training, equipment, and response protocols countywide."
