Bon Secours expanding footprint in Henrico with two more urgent care clinics

Bon Secours is further expanding its local urgent care arm with a pair of new locations in Henrico.

The health system plans to open an urgent care clinic at 4835 S. Laburnum Ave. in the eastern part of the county next month, a Bon Secours spokeswoman said.

It would be the Bon Secours’ 11th urgent care clinic in the Richmond area and follows the opening of a similar facility earlier this month near Glen Allen.

The Laburnum clinic is slated to open in mid-October and will operate in a 4,200-square-foot building, which is new construction on the property. The site is across the street from the Kroger-anchored Laburnum Square shopping center.

A smaller building had previously existed on the site and was home to occupational health clinic Working Well. I
