Campbell Hatton, the son of Ricky Hatton, has shared a heartfelt tribute after the devastating loss of the former world boxing champion on Sunday morning.

Hatton was discovered deceased at his home at the age of 46. Known as 'The Hitman', he had faced numerous mental health challenges during his career but was gearing up for a comeback to the ring later this year.

Having become one of Britain's most beloved boxers, Hatton took on Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in the ring, suffering defeats to both.

Recently, he had overcome depression and returned to training fighters in the gym.

On Tuesday evening, Campbell turned to social media to post a moving homage to his late father. "Heartbroken isn't the word," he penned.
