ANN ARBOR, Mich. — It was one thing to play a game against Central Michigan without Sherrone Moore on the sideline. Michigan will now have to go through an entire week without its head coach.

Tuesday marked the first full practice day without Moore on hand, serving out the remainder of his two-game suspension for violating NCAA rules. And while the Wolverines’ head coach was allowed to be around last week during the lead-up to his team’s 63-3 rout of CMU, he is barred from the facility ahead of Saturday’s Big Ten opener at Nebraska (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS).
