LA RAMS head coach Sean McVay suffered a freak injury during Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

McVay appeared to pull up while moving to call a timeout on the sidelines.

The head coach continued to walk uncomfortably for the rest of the game but did not immediatley disclose what the issue was.

But on Monday, McVay revealed that he actually tore his plantar fascia.

Speaking on the team-produced Coach McVay Show, the 39-year-old said: "Foot's good.

"I did tear my plantar fascia, so yeah. Well, that's a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster.

"But I was being dramatic, limping around towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed I did that.
