Food lovers in Glasgow will soon be able to enjoy Café XO at its new home in Clydeside Containers , but first, chef Andrew Manson is offering a special one-off preview.

On Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27, the talented chef will take over the kitchen at the now-closed Mikaku restaurant for a two-night, five-course tasting menu.

Andrew, best known for his bold use of umami and ability to craft flavour-driven plates, has designed a menu including:

Baba ganoush, feta, pomegranate, pistou

Cured sea trout, yuzu kosho, pickled cucumber, dill oil

Iberico pork tonkatsu, apple, fennel, puffed pork skin

Crispy tatties, gochujang mayo, parmesan

Coconut namelaka, caramelised white chocolate, pecan, pineapple
