A creepy crisis worker has been allowed to keep his job after saying "he couldn't trust himself" to visit a vulnerable female service user alone. ‌

James McConville, who works as a support worker for Simon Community Scotland , made the comment to two colleagues on different occasions in 2023. In a conversation with another peer, he said of another service user: "She was a good-looking girl." ‌

And as he referred to another vulnerable woman, McConville said: "She'd be a good-looking girl if she lost some of that weight." At the time of the remarks, McConville worked for Simon Community Scotland - a charity that provides safe places and support for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness - in Glasgow. ‌
