US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania began the first full day of their second state visit to Britain with a formal welcome at Windsor Castle. They were greeted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, following their arrival where the Prince and Princess of Wales received them. The visit is taking place under heavy security measures, with organised protests planned in Windsor and central London by the Stop Trump Coalition. The build-up to the occasion has also been overshadowed by the dismissal of UK ambassador to Washington, Peter Mandelson, due to his links with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
