THE REST OF THE WEEK...
While high pressure kept us dry the last few days, it moves offshore today allowing moisture from low pressure near the Mid-Atlantic to stream our way, leading to the possibility of isolated showers (not a washout). Additionally, with the onshore/easterly wind flow, temperatures will be relatively cooler as they top out between 70 and 75 (cooler along the shoreline, compared to inland areas). Some towns only make it into the upper 60s, especially in NW and SE CT. Today is also CT Day at the Big E in West Springfield, MA – most of the time should be dry, but a shower can’t be ruled out; otherwise, it’s mostly cloudy with a high in the mid-70s.
