GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — ArtPrize is back in Grand Rapids on Thursday, meaning thousands of visitors will be flooding into the city.

The international art competition is boasting thousands of entries from hundreds of competing artists. It runs Thursday, Sept. 18 until Saturday, Oct. 4.

While most of the artwork is concentrated in downtown Grand Rapids, you will need to explore other neighborhoods to see everything. The City of Grand Rapids is highlighting different options to navigate the city.

An inexpensive way of getting around the city is using the free DASH shuttles . The shuttles will be running everyday and offer routes into downtown and to many ArtPrize venues. It costs $3 to park in the DASH parking lots, but the shuttles are free.
