NEW YORK — Haifa Smoked Fish is recalling its Cold Smoked Salmon and Cold Smoked Seabass due to potential Listeria Monocytogenes contamination.

The contamination was discovered after the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets and Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of Lister Monocytogenes.

The Haifa 8 oz. Cold Smoked Salmon and the 8 oz. Cold Smoked Seabass packages were distributed nationwide to retail stores and distributors. They're vacuum packaged on a paper board with flexible plastic.

No illnesses have been reported at this time.
