Two more Massachusetts public school educators have been placed on leave for social media posts related to the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Two teachers at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School were placed on leave on Friday, Peabody school superintendent Josh Vadala confirmed.
The teachers were not identified.
They were placed on leave for “alleged violations of district policies and procedures,” which include the posts about Kirk, Vadala said in a statement.
The incident is currently under investigation.
Teachers across the country have been placed on leave after posting about Kirk’s assassination last week on a Utah college campus.
Elsewhere in Massachusetts, teachers have been suspended in Holden and Framingham. Teachers have also been put on leave in New Ham
