VIRGINIA CITY HIGHLANDS, Nev. (KOLO) - A man from the Virginia City Highlands has been arrested after police say he was a felon in possession of guns and drugs.

On Tuesday, deputies with the Storey County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a residence in the VC Highlands after receiving informant information of drug sales.

Police say that during the search, they recovered large quantities of drugs and two guns. They say the suspect, 43-year-old Jason Scott, is a felon, and is not allowed to be in possession of firearms.

Deputies say they recovered marijuana, THC concentrate, ecstasy and psylocibin from the residence, as well as evidence of items used for the sale of illegal substances.

Soctt also had an active felony warrant issued by the Reno Township Justice Court for charge
