NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was arrested Tuesday after a Norwalk smoke shop was searched for illegal marijuana products, according to police.

R and R Convenience located at 213 Main St. was searched on Tuesday.

Mohamed Anam, 27 of Bronx, New York was arrested and charged with violation of restricted substances, sale of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, police said.

The search allegedly revealed the following: • Pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes • Containers and bags filled with marijuana • THC edibles • Several bottles of nitrous oxide

The store's license to sell vape products is currently suspended, pending review, police said.

Anam will appear in court on Oct. 6.
