WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Windsor High School is delaying dismissal until further notice due to police activity and road closures on Wednesday, according to school officials.

Multiple police departments, including Windsor, Avon and West Hartford, responded to a scene on Matthew Lane. Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the police activity.

Windsor Public Schools said this will also impact middle and elementary school dismissal. All students and staff are safe, and parents can pick up students from the Red Tile Lobby, school officials said.
