SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Starting in 2026, a new sport will be joining the offerings available at Briar Cliff University (BCU).

According to a release from BCU, they will be adding men's and women's bowling as a sport.

The school will begin to offer bowling with the 2026 - 2027 school year.

"Adding bowling to our athletic lineup continues our mission of creating opportunities for future student-athletes while strengthening the Charger community," Briar Cliff President, Dr. Matthew Draud, said. "We are excited to see this program grow and to provide another way for students to excel both on and off the lanes."

BCU will be partnering with Plaza Bowl as their home.
