NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) - Two people are in "serious condition" after a police incident in southern Pennsylvania, prompting the governor to rush to the scene.

The York County Coroner's Office confirmed they have also responded to the incident, an indication that there is at least one death.

Ted Czech with the York County Office of Emergency Management said a 911 call came in at 2:10 p.m. ET for an incident in the areas of Haar Road and Senft Road in North Codorus Township, near the Pennsylvania-Maryland state line. In a brief statement, Czech said the incident is "evolving" with police and EMS responding.

Two people were receiving treatment at WellSpan York Hospital, which said enhanced security protocols are in place.
