FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk has sparked a lot of debate both in person and on social media.

Vice President JD Vance is hosting Kirk’s podcast and made comments earlier this week encouraging people that if they see a post online “celebrating” his death, to tell that person’s employer.

Across the country and here in 21Country people have been posting about Kirk’s death.

Some of those posts have led to people losing their jobs.

Indiana University law professor, Steve Sanders, explains that Indiana is an ‘employment at-will state,’ meaning that an employer can fire someone for any reason as long as the reason is not illegal.
