Stockton police said the stabbing occurred around 2:30 a.m. on the 1400 block of West Euclid Avenue. Both of the male suspects were inside the residence when they saw an unknown suspect inside.

The victims attempted to attack the suspect, who has been identified as Jordan Chavez, 34, before fleeing, which led him to stab the victims, SPD said.

SPD said the victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Later, police found Chavez and took him into custody for assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property.
