NEW HOLSTEIN, Wis. (WBAY) - In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s death, several school officials across the state have either been reprimanded or fired for making statements on social media.

However, at New Holstein High School, those comments have now made it inside the classroom.

It’s been the talk of the town in New Holstein. A teacher was suspended one day for making an inappropriate comment during class following the death of political activist Charlie Kirk.

The students claimed the teacher said Kirk “had it coming.”

“Hiding it and not addressing it, not apologizing for the behavior. That’s where my issue is,” says Jessica Vollmer.

Vollmer, who asked us not to show her face following a facial procedure, learned about the incident from her son, not from the school.
