MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - When a Prairie du Sac man found out his mother had only two months to live, he started writing letters to her and compiled them into a book.
“Letters to My Mother” Author of Chuck Murphree joined WMTV’s Leigh Mills to talk more about his new book and what he hopes it gives to others.
To prepare for the upcoming process of his mom’s passing, Murphree started writing letters to express his feelings toward his mother. His mom recommended publishing the letters because she realized how many people are experiencing grief and how the feeling connects people.
“Grieving can often feel very lonely,” Murphree said. “I’m hoping that people that do pick up the book acknowledge that grief is love and that also that they’re not alone in that process.”
