HALLSVILLE — The Hallsville School District is holding its monthly School Board meeting on Wednesday night following recent controversy surrounding two district employees.
The meeting comes two days after district superintendent Tyler Walker announced that two employees were placed on paid administrative leave after social media posts they shared regarding the killing of Charlie Kirk.
The School Board started with a closed session at 5 p.m., and the main session, which is open to the public, begins at 6 p.m. During the open session, there is time allotted for public comment.
According to district policy, each speaker will be allowed no more than three minutes to provide their public comment. The citizen communication portion of the meeting is normally limited to 30 minutes, and only
