TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - When it comes to high school cross country, the Chiles boys program is consistently one of the best in the state of Florida. The program has made it to the state championships for 25 straight seasons, winning a state title four teams.

It’s a legacy and a tradition that senior Josh Hicks is proud of, and one he’s looking to continue in his final season running for the Timberwolves.

“I get to represent my school when I run this race,” he said. “After words I can always look back and say I did this for my school.”

Hicks led the Timberwolves to a second place finish as a team last year, finishing 14th overall, but this year, he’s looking to go out on top.
