BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection to a Birmingham shooting last month.

Birmingham Police say 19-year-old Joshua Lewis Jr. was arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred Saturday, Aug. 23.

Authorities say Lewis Jr. was taken into custody Wednesday, Sept 17 and was charged with attempted murder and discharging firearm into unoccupied vehicle.

Lewis Jr. is currently in the Jefferson County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
