HOLYOKE ― The numbers are in: Holyoke’s preliminary election drew sparse turnout in Wards 1 and 5, but voters there decided who will appear on the citywide ballot in November.

The results were finalized Wednesday morning, following a review to ensure all tallies — including mail-in and write-in ballots — were accurate, Assistant City Clerk Kelly Lundgren said.

“Everything went smoothly,” Lundgren told The Republican.
