ATHENS, Ga. — New information regarding the deadly January 2023 University of Georgia crash came to light on Wednesday after testimony from NFL star Jalen Carter was revealed in a legal complaint stemming from a lawsuit filed by the plaintiffs' attorneys.

Carter was driving alongside an SUV before it went over a curb at high speeds and crashed, killing teammate Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy hours after UGA celebrated its second straight national championship win. At the time of the crash, Carter was a football player at UGA.
