KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee entered the 2025 season with question marks at quarterback, offensive line and wide receiver. Through three weeks, those question marks have turned out to be bright spots for the Volunteers.

Joey Aguilar has become a fan favorite with his play on the field and his embrace of Knoxville off it. The offensive line has allowed just one sack despite dealing with injuries.

Wide receiver may be the most pleasant surprise. Chris Brazzell was Tennessee’s only returning wideout with more than seven catches from a season ago.

Brazzell, Braylon Staley and Mike Matthews have shone in the early stages of the season. All three have surpassed their season totals in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns from last season.
