KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Turning Point USA has become nationally recognized after Charlie Kirk traveled the country, speaking his conservative views to mass audiences.
Kirk was shot and killed while speaking about his beliefs on the Utah Valley University campus. Now, his supporters across the country are holding vigils to remember the co-founder of Turning Point USA.
“Hosting this event was to not necessarily only mourn him, but to provide confidence that we know where to move forward as a chapter, as a community and as a country,” Emma Arns, the president of UT’s Turning Point USA chapter said.
The University of Tennessee’s Turning Point USA chapter, held a vigil to remember the life of Kirk.
