KEMMERER -- The Rawlins swim team is hard at work this weekend with meets in Rock Springs and Green River. Most recently, they took on three other teams at the Kemmerer Invite on Sept. 12.
Kemmerer won their home meet with 104 points, Sublette County came in second with 49, Lyman came in third with 45 and Rawlins came in fourth with 29.
Anna Johansson and Sophie Laird earned point for the Outlaws in the 200-meter individual medley. Johansson placed second with a time of three minutes, 5.15 seconds. Laird placed fourth with a 3:34.15 finish.
Laird tacked on another point in the 400-meter freestyle, where her 6:15.36 time earned her fifth place.
The only event win for Rawlins came in the 100-meter backstroke, which Johansson won with a time of 1:25.65.
