BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is stepping up enforcement in our area -- this time on motorcycles.

Viewers spotted troopers on bikes in Boardman, and in just one hour, First News saw at least five on patrol -- including one with an SUV pulled over on U.S. Route 224.

A sergeant with the motorcycle unit says they're targeting areas tough to navigate in cruisers, focusing on distracted and impaired driving and tailgating.
