BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One week after the death of Charlie Kirk , schools and organizations across Alabama have fired or suspended employees for what they call hurtful social media posts.
Wednesday afternoon, Auburn University’s president released a statement saying some employees were fired for making hurtful and insensitive posts on social media that did not align with the school’s values. It is not clear what those posts were about or if they were connected to Kirk’s death.
