LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A south Las Vegas valley road was closed in both directions after a crash Wednesday night.

Around 7:50 p.m., Metro police responded to a report of a crash in the area of Valley View Boulevard and Somerset Hills Avenue near Cactus Avenue, according to Metro police.

Valley View Boulevard was closed in both directions between Conn Avenue and Bella Lante Avenue, according to RTC Southern Nevada. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
