TOPPENISH, Wash. – Heritage University has been awarded a $2.1 million grant from the National Science Foundation to enhance student success in STEM fields over the next five years.

The university plans to implement the "Strengthening Rural STEM Education" project to bridge gaps in student achievement.

The initiative aims to boost confidence and a sense of belonging for both the institution and its students in the STEM fields.
