We all know how devastating neglect and abandonment can be. For dogs, it’s even worse — many lose trust in humans, and some even forget how to express their natural, happy behaviors.

That’s exactly what happened to 18 poor Doodle dogs who were found wandering the streets of Whatcom County, Washington.

All of them belonged to this popular and expensive breed, which made rescuers believe they came from a single irresponsible breeder. Sadly, that only made their story even more heartbreaking.
