MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Negotiations are still underway to purchase Reisman Hall on the former campus of Cazenovia College to be used for the Madison County 911 center and sheriff's office.
This comes after the county board approved the deal earlier this summer for $1.9 million.
The Sigety Hall property would be used as an extended parking area next to Reisman Hall for employees.
Madison County Sheriff Todd Hood said the current building they use isn't big enough for the staff.
"We're pushing 200 employees and we're in a concrete block structure that once was used as a garage that they renovated," said Hood.
